Custom Order Policy: Online and In-Store Purchases

At Jo Hair Studio, we cater to both international online clients and local in-store customers with our custom hair solutions. To provide clarity, we’ve outlined distinct policies for each purchasing method.

Online Purchases (Including International Clients)

  1. Custom Orders Are Final Sale:

    • All custom orders made online are final sale. Due to the personalized nature of each piece, once a custom order is processed, it cannot be refunded or returned.
    • Custom orders will be shipped exactly as per your initial specifications, including the requested color, style, and modifications.
  2. Modifications:

    • If you wish to modify the piece (e.g., cut or color) after receiving it, we recommend consulting a local stylist in your area, as we cannot offer modification services for international orders.
    • Note: Any alterations to the original style, color, or condition of the piece voids eligibility for store credit or any form of exchange.
  3. Store Credit Eligibility:

    • If the custom order is in its original, unmodified condition (not worn, altered, or styled) and you are unsatisfied, you may request store credit within 14 days of receipt.
    • This store credit is valid for future purchases but cannot be refunded in cash or transferred.

In-Store Purchases (Vancouver and Toronto Locations)

  1. Custom Orders Are Final Sale:

    • Custom orders for in-store purchases are also final sale due to the bespoke nature of our products. However, you are welcome to discuss modifications directly with our team before taking the item home.
    • Our specialists will ensure the piece meets your requirements before you leave the store, but we cannot offer refunds once the item is customized to your specifications.
  2. Additional Modification Requests:

    • If you decide, after the initial 14 days, that you would like additional modifications (such as a different cut, color adjustment, or other style changes), these can be arranged as an added service at our Vancouver or Toronto locations.
    • Additional service fees will apply based on the time and resources needed, and we will provide a detailed quote before proceeding with any new modifications.
  3. No Store Credit or Returns on Modified Pieces:

    • Once a piece has been modified (color, cut, or other changes), it becomes non-returnable, and store credit is no longer applicable.
    • We encourage you to carefully review your custom piece before leaving the store to ensure satisfaction with the final product.
